Elvis King of Rock Whimsical Sneering Rabbit Collectible Magazine Cover Rock's Original Bad Boy

Here is the first Running Bun Magazine cover of 2014!

I'm so excited to share this with you! Released in this month of his birth (b. Jan. 8), here's Elvis Parsley, the King of Rock, in his pre-Hollywood ginger days of glory against a rustic amber backdrop giving the whole piece a living sepia feel. After all, sepia is the organic ocean fauna compound formerly derived from cuttlefish ink. So here's a natural, cruelty-free, eco-friendly living sepia photography portrait of the original bad boy rocker rabbit himself, Elvis Parsley.

Here's the Etsy listing description verbatim as published two hours ago. This print is a sneak preview which will be featured in the shop newsletter, Inspired By Rabbits, which is due out sometime on Monday. Follow me on Twitter for micro updates and yummy other beautiful Etsy-ness from the point of view of this Hollywood Regency photographer.

The King: Elvis Parsley

As you can see, I think it's evident that I love my job. So, yes, I am one of those wheelchair photographers but for me, it just means that I see and even read (or rather, write) more into what I'm focused on with my secret sanctuary studio than someone might who is contractually obligated to do it. In fact, this makes me uniquely qualified to claim having created and dominated in a niche of my own creation.

It's a claim with a dash of madness, but don't harp on that part of it. If you know me personally, you know I'm extremely imaginative to a point that surprises even well heeled folks. And the writing part of this occupation is like a chance for me to exercise a creative muscle of what I personally feel is my original, highest talent. Or at least, to avoid sounding overly confident, the highest talent for an 80's kid like myself.

This rabbit multi-verse I straddle between Earth and Planet Beatrix Potter is like a mental binky with its gentle musings on the anthropomorphization of Oryctolagus cuniculus. Fancy myself a sci fi version of the great one, Miss Beatrix Potter. I didn't imagine as a child any such thing in my future or even physical based reality, but, dash gonnit, here I am. Thank you for the privilege to sprinkle my dash of madness around to all your bunny rabbit sensibilities. Thank you!

At last, here's a little preview of the listing and some publicity art from Rocker-Rabbitdom. Enjoy, please do visit the link and heart it, perhaps? If not, that's ok but it would be fun to have the loyal minions of the King who are also bunny peeps support the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Parsley in all his sneering glory, caught as a young bun but not like in that song. No hound dogs in my studio, Inspired By Paws Studio, just rabbit paparazzi. Yeah! Rock on bunny peeps!

Etsy Description -

Running Bun Magazine Special Edition Rock's Original Bad Boy issue featuring Elvis Parsley rabbit. You remember don't you? The pelvis binkies that shook the world, scandalized television airwaves and probably also caused some of those fanquakes similar to Marshawn Lynch's beastquake (see blog link for more info: http://runningbunmagazine.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-secret-voice-of-rabbits-part-deux.html ).

Well here's the rocker rabbit who started it all: Elvis Parsley, the King of Rock.

This Special Edition's Running Bun Magazine headlines include a look at Jailhouse Rocker Rabbits, a gold record discography with such hit songs as "Don't Be Cruel to a Jailhouse Rocker Rabbit," exposé of the famous Elvis entourage group, the Memphis Owsla, and last but best, Pelvis Binkies that Shook the World about those gyratin' bunny hips that shocked the world and even got a sneer out of Ed Sullivan.

Aside from all of these wonderful headlines from the rocker rabbit multi-verse, there is the gorgeously shot breathtakingly handsome and darling, wonderful rabbit photography of a castor red mini rex rabbit sneering at all the world as he responds to his photographer.

The spirit of Elvis Presley seems to be manifesting for a brief flash of a strobe moment on the adorable and highly whimsical fine art photograph of this lagomorph's visage. Shot against a background of capsicum spiked hot chocolate or a rustic amber, it is reminiscent of Elvis the Pelvis in the days before Hollywood dyed his strawberry blond hair to black. This is Elvis Parsley while still a ginger, really, in all his Southern glory. And that sneer, the signature gesture of Elvis for all time is right here perfectly embodied in the face of one of those famously disapproving rabbits like only mini rexes can do it. It's undeniable, just look at him!

So, for this glimpse into the rocker rabbit universe, Elvis Parsley is the King of Rock. And he's just as gloriously dashing as a red, shale colored castor mini rex bunny rabbit as you could ever imagine (now c'mon, you can imagine that right?) Good for you!

Covers are 10" x 14" and signed by the photographer/designer. They are printed on premium fine art 'velvet' paper made of 100% cotton. Printed on the world's premier gicléé printer.

We can't say enough about the stunningly better than lifelike quality of our photo prints produced in our shop. 100% handmade from eco friendly 100% cotton fine art paper.

Frame is not included and this listing is for *one* collectible cover. Please check our policies for shipping info and general policies.

Have a Heart-Shaped Box of Chocolates with this Charming Bunny Fellow

Isn't this bunny rabbit fellow charming, with his cute little white nose gently sniffing the rose on this heart-shaped box of chocolates for Valentine's Day? He's just a squee little rabbit fellow, too. So small, that he looks like he has plenty of room in that mailbox he's coming out of to sniff the mail. This little bunny was rescued as a senior bun, 8 years old, when he was abandoned at the shelter having never been out of his cage in all that time. I went and got him and after some time, he was adopted, and lived happily ever after. I remember him so fondly and am very glad I got to meet him.

Would You Prefer a Chocolate Bunny Truffle as Your Eye Candy?

Here's an adorable little charming Netherland dwarf bunny rabbit couple affectionately nuzzling each other in our photography studio. The gorgeous little solid chocolate bunny is the male and husbun to this precious little English spotted female rabbit.

I remember going to pick up this little gal at the shelter where, apparently, a breeder had dumped her because she couldn't bear live young. She'd had a small litter of still born and peanut babies, none of whom survived. That's because the dwarf gene is lethal and if a bun is born with one of these genes inherited from each of his parents, he won't have any growth tissue and cannot grow. He may last a week or even 10 days but more often, he'd be stillborn. This precious bunny gal was very sad about losing her litter of baby rabbits but after being spayed, she found love with this gorgeous chocolate bunny boy, who was also altered. They lived happily ever after as cherished house pets.

We'll have more cards to release in the coming days and surely, some of them will be just as appropriate for Valentine's Day. Please be sure to check back with us. And please sign up for our shop newsletter to be entered into our monthly prize giveaways. Some lucky winner will hop away with a Valentine's Day prize.
